1) If missing, download and install Microsoft .NET Framework (www.microsoft.com/downloads).
2) Modify the machine's runtime security policy using the .NET Framework v1.1 Configuration tool (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools).
a) Select "Runtime Security Policy"
b) Under Tasks, select "Adjust Zone Security"
c) Select "Make Changes to this Computer", unless there is a specific need to limit changes to the current user.
d) Select "Local Intranet" zone and set trust level to "Full Trust".
3) Run w:\readers\install.bat. This will create the local directory (c:\touch\bin), place the local database, touch.mdb, there, copy the latest program file, and put a batch file for automatic updates in the all-users Start\Programs\Startup folder.
